Almost 15.2 million tons of oil and gas condensate were produced in Azerbaijan from January through May 2020, which is 2.7 percent less compared to the same period last year, Trend reports citing the report of the State Statistical Committee.
Over the reporting period, the volume of produced gas exceeded 16.4 billion cubic meters, including 11.6 billion cubic meters of commercial gas. On an annualized basis, these indicators increased by 13.1 percent and 14.8 percent, respectively.
As of June 1, 2020, the stock of finished petroleum products amounted to 301,600 tons.
In 2019, 37.52 million tons of oil and gas condensate were produced in Azerbaijan, which is roughly equal to the indicator of 2018. The main volume of oil production in Azerbaijan falls on the block of Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) oil and gas fields.
The volume of gas production amounted to 35.59 billion cubic meters in 2019, of commercial gas production – to 24.53 billion cubic meters.
