Zanganeh clarifies speculations about Iran's gasoline export to Venezuela

The export of gasoline by the Islamic Republic of Iran to Venezuela was part of the trade turnover between the two countries, Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh told journalists, Trend reports citing IRNA.

The minister emphasized that Iran has not exported gasoline to help Venezuela.

Iran has recently exported five tankers of gasoline to Venezuela. The volume of 5 tankers was about 1.3 million barrels.

Member of the Advisory Council of Iran Ali Agha Mohammadi said that the proceeds funds from Iran's export of gasoline to Venezuela were paid to the Iranian state treasury.
