Westport Trading Europe Limited (WTL) won Turkmenistan's state tender for the turnkey construction of a new atmospheric oil distillation unit with an electric desalination block, with a capacity of 1 million tons per year at Seidinsky Oil Refinery, WTL told Trend.
"The new plant will allow to carry out the operation of the Seidinsky Oil Refinery in the current mode, without stopping the manufacture of petroleum products, and will ensure the continuous operation of existing and prospective plants of the Seidinsky Oil Refinery, improving the quality of petroleum products, creating conditions for stable provision of high-quality raw materials and their accident-free operation," added WTL.
"The estimated load at which the main equipment of the plant will work continuously to obtain target products of the specified quality and quantity should be 125 t/hour of raw materials - a mixture of oil and gas condensate with 8,000 hours of operation," said the company.
At the moment, WTL is working on the reconstruction of delayed coking and de-asphalting of tar at the Turkmenbashi oil refinery.
WTL is an American Corporation founded in 1998 as a supplier of the latest American technologies, all types of engineering work and a wide range of industrial equipment for the oil refining industry.
