Azerbaijan produced over 66,600 tons of propylene in the first half of 2020, which is 26.9 percent more compared to the same period in 2019, Trend reports referring to the country's State Statistical Committee.
In the reporting period, 243,800 tons of methanol were produced in Azerbaijan, which is 33.2 percent more compared to the period from January through June 2019.
Meanwhile, 87,500 tons of ethylene were produced in the country.
Growth was observed during the reporting period in the production of most of the main types of chemical products in Azerbaijan.
