Turkmenistan’s Elotenetrapgas gas company operating in the country's Mary region is working on the reconstruction of gas supply systems, comprehensive instrument inspection of gas pipelines, assessment of their technical condition and replacement of pipelines, Trend reports with reference to Nebit-Gas electronic newspaper.
The company performs maintenance of 29 gas distribution and 320 gas control equipment units on the territory of the Eloten district of the Mary region.
As reported, 2,182 meters of underground gas pipelines were repaired and 487 meters of underground pipelines were replaced in the villages of the Eloten district. Work has also been carried out to increase the diameter of the 850-meter-long low-pressure gas pipeline and reconstruct it.
The work is being carried out in order to prepare for gas supply in the autumn and winter.
The company provides uninterrupted operation of gas pipelines of various pressures with a total length of 923 kilometers, which run on the territory of the Eloten district of the Mary region.
In 1H2020, the plan for oil and gas condensate production in Turkmenistan was overfulfilled by 7.6 percent, oil refining - by 2.6 percent, gasoline production – by 5.1 percent, and diesel fuel – by 5.1 percent. The growth rate of liquefied gas production exceeded by 12.2 percent.
Since recently, the country started introducing digital technologies in oil companies, as well as improving the production activities of concerns based on the fact that prices for hydrocarbon resources have fallen in the world.
Increasing the volume of local oil and gas production, maintaining high growth rates and investment activity in this area are the main tasks of Turkmenistan.
