BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 26

By Jeila Aliyeva - Trend:

Turkmenabat Chemical Plant of Turkmenhimiya State Concern together with Celek company plans to establish production of a new type of product – industrial mixed liquid, Trend reports with reference to Business Turkmenistan information portal.

The last stage of testing of the production process of this liquid is currently underway.

The first batch of this type of chemical products will be released shortly. Meanwhile, it is planned to establish a production of about 1,000 tons of mixed liquid per year from 2021.

The industrial mixed liquid is widely used in the crushing of rock ores, which makes it easy to process even the most layered rocks.

Turkmenabat Chemical Plant of Turkmenhimiya state concern produced more than 134,000 tons of phosphorous mineral fertilizers from January through July 2020.

Turkmenabat Chemical Plant is constantly expanding the range of products, said the report.

Recently, the plant launched the production of superphosphate. Furthermore, it is planning to start production of aluminum fluoride, oxygen, plastic films and bags, and sulfuric acid.

New facilities are planned to be built in Turkmenistan to increase the volume and expand the range of chemical products, the report said.

The country's raw materials allow producing all types of mineral fertilizers in the volumes that meet domestic needs, as well as greatly increasing the export potential of the chemical industry. In particular, a plant for the production of various types of azophoska(ammonium nitrate-based compound fertilizer) with a capacity of 170,000 tons per year is planned to be built on the territory of the Turkmenabat Chemical Plant.

At the same time, the work is underway to attract investments in the creation of a production line for the manufacturing of ammonium sulfate with a capacity of 65,000 tons per year.
