The share of hydroelectric power stations in electricity production in Turkey increased by 3.32 percent in June 2020 while its use ensured the generation capacity of 21,265 megawatts, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).
The share of electricity produced with usage of natural gas reached 29.93 percent out of the total indicator throughout the country, according to the EPDK report.
In June 2020, a total of 85,615 megawatts were generated in Turkey as a whole, which is 1.19 percent more compared to June 2019.
