Kazakhstan increases crude petroleum oil exports to France

Kazakhstan has exported 673,067 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 187.1 million euros to France in June 2020, Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s exported 18.4 million tons of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals worth 59.03 million euros to France in 1H2020.

Thus, the June volume of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to France is 99.2 percent more than in volume compared to May 2020 (337,882 tons) and is 3.4 times more than in Jan. 2020 (197,514 tons).

June’s export value is also 5.1 times more than in May 2020 (36.5 million euros) and is 1.9 times more than in Jan. 2020 (96.5 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and France amounted to $1.3 billion over 1H2020, compared to $2.2 billion during the same period of 2019.

Kazakhstan’s export to France amounted to $1.03 billion over the period from January through June 2020, compared to $1.9 billion during the same period of 2019.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from France amounted to nearly $346.8 million over the reporting period, compared to $272.1 million during the same period of 2019.
