The precipitation in the Caspian Sea decreased by 12 percent from September 23, 2019 to September 1, 2020 compared to the same period last Iranian year, this is reflected the report of Water Resources Management Company under Ministry of Energy of Iran, Trend reports citing the company.
According to the report, 484.4 millimeters of precipitation was in the Caspian Sea during the period, while in the same period of last year, it was 551.3 millimeters (mm).
“In general, the volume of precipitation in Iran decreased by 7 percent,” the report said.
