Kazakhstan's crude petroleum oil exports to Italy surge in 1H2020

Kazakhstan has exported 290,808 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 73.6 million euros to Italy in June 2020, Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan exported 2.3 million tons of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals worth 682.05 million euros to Italy in 1H2020.

Thus, the June volume of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to the Italy is 11.8 percent more than in volume compared to May 2020 (18,789 tons) and is 46.6 percent less than in Jan. 2020 (401,614 tons).

June’s export value is also 91.7 percent more than in May 2020 (38.4 million euros) and is 70.6 percent less than in Jan. 2020 (250.8 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Italy amounted to $4.3 billion over 1H2020, compared to $5.01 billion during the same period of 2019.

Kazakhstan’s export to Italy amounted to $3.9 billion over the period from January through June 2020, compared to $4.2 billion during the same period of 2019.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Italy stood at about $422.4 million over the reporting period, compared to $771.1 million during the same period of 2019.
