The creation of the Intellectual Field in Kazakhstan will allow stabilizing the level of extraction of natural resources up to two percent, Zerde Holding JSC, responsible for the implementation of the Digital Kazakhstan state program, told Trend on Sept. 25.
“The goals of the "Digital Kazakhstan" state program are to accelerate the development of Kazakhstan’s economy and improve the quality of life of the population through the use of digital technologies in the medium term, as well as create conditions for the transition of Kazakhstan’s economy to a fundamentally new trajectory of development, ensuring the creation of a digital economy of the future in the long term,” Zerde Holding said.
"The program involves implementation of a set of interrelated measures that should be implemented to achieve the key ambitious goal of creating an innovative economy, joining 30 developed countries by 2050 and transforming society and production in such a way as not to be left behind the modern technological world,” Zerde Holding said. “The consolidation and mobilization of the whole society, a breakthrough in a short period of time are required to achieve this goal."
“So, digital technologies are being introduced within the "Digitalization of economic sectors",” Zerde Holding said. “The technologies are being introduced at the fuel and energy enterprises, mining and metallurgical complexes, in which the enterprises are technologically reequipped by using Industry 4.0 elements.”
“A project is being implemented in the oil and gas sector to create the "Intellectual Field", which allows optimizing the cost of electricity consumption by up to 15 percent, stabilizing the production level up to 2 percent," the holding said.
