Iran's Marun Oil and Gas Production Company (MOGPC) fulfilled its plan 101 percent on crude oil and rich gas extraction and 102.5 percent of on naphtha production during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21, 2020), said Executive Director for MOGPC Hamid Kavian, Trend reports citing the company's official website.
Kavian noted that the extraction increased by 6,100 barrels per day during the reporting period by carrying out operations related to increasing extraction and a number of repairs.
The director added that 57,000 barrels of crude oil were extracted using MOT (Mobile Oil Treater) and MOS (Mobile Oil Separator) equipment for 6 months.
The Marun Oil and Gas Production Company extracted more than 191,000 barrels of oil in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019, to March 20, 2020) by using the reporting equipment.
About 580,000 barrels of oil are extracted daily from wells owned by Iran's Marun Oil and Gas Company. Some of the oil goes for domestic consumption and the rest for export. The company also extracts about 36,000 barrels of liquefied gas daily, which is transport to the Mahshahr petrochemical plant.
The company extracts about 560 million cubic feet of gas (about 15.8 million cubic meters) daily, along with oil and 465 million cubic meters (about 13.1 million cubic meters) is transported to related locations.
The company produces 7,200 barrels of naphtha daily and transports it for export to Mahshahr port.
