Value from digitalization will come through the Shell businesses, Suchismita Sanyal, GM Computational science at Shell, told Trend.

“Customers trust us with their data. Maintaining that trust is of upmost importance to Shell. Consequently, we strictly follow data protection rules and regulations such as GDPR as well as having a sophisticated cyber defense team working to protect our customers and Shell’s data 24/7.
“Our cyber-defense team works from centers in the Netherlands, the USA and India, and helps to protect the company and our customers by detecting threats, vulnerabilities, non-compliance and incidents like cyber intrusion. The team apply a follow-the-sun principle, making sure there is always someone online to look at new events of interest,” he explained.
