Imports of fuels and lubricants to Georgia amounted to 1,660 tons in October 2020, which is 580,000 tons more than in September (2,240 tons), Trend reports via the Union of Oil Importers of Georgia.

The largest volume of fuels and lubricants were imported from Turkey - 470 tons (20 percent) that is 28,3 percent of total imports. Followed by Russia - 290 tons (17.5 percent), Germany - 190 tons (11.4 percent), the Netherlands - 90 tons (5.4 percent) and others.

From January through October imports of lubricants to Georgia amounted to 15,450 tons, which is 970 tons or 5.9 percent less than in the same period of last year (16,420 tons).

In the reporting period, the largest volume of lubricants was imported from Turkey - 4,660 tons, which is 30.2 percent of total imports followed by Russia - 2,450 tons (15.8 percent), Germany - 1,380 tons (8.9 percent), Iran - 970 tons (6.3 percent), etc.

Imports of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) amounted to 3,400 tons in October 2020 that is 1,800 tons or 112.5 percent more than in September (1,600 tons) and 1,700 tons or 33.3 percent less than in October last year (5,100 tons). Some 94.1 percent (3,200 tons) of imports were carried out from the Russian Federation.

Imports of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in January through October made 33,600 tons that is 2,200 tons or 7 percent more than in the same period of last year (31,400 tons). Some 94 percent (31,600 tons) of imports were carried out from the Russian Federation.
