Azerbaijan’s natural gas output stood at 35.616 billion cubic meters in 2019, of which 19 percent accounted for the state oil company SOCAR, Trend reports citing the company.
SOCAR produced 6.818 billion cubic meters of gas in 2019. The company’s share dropped from 21 percent in 2017 and 2018 to 19 percent in 2019.
Natural gas production in Azerbaijan equaled to 30.394 billion cubic meters in 2018, as compared to 28.598 billion cubic meters in 2017. SOCAR produced 6.525 billion cubic meters and 6.089 billion cubic meters in 2018 and 2017, respectively.
SOCAR processed 3.215 billion cubic meters of gas in 2019, as compared to 2.952 billion cubic meters in 2018 and 2.918 billion cubic meters in 2017.
Azerbaijan produced over 30.2 billion cubic meters of gas and 21.4 billion cubic meters of commodity gas from January through October 2020.
On an annualized basis, these indicators increased by 4.5 percent and 7.3 percent, respectively.
At the same time, the country produced almost 28.8 million tons of oil and gas condensate, which is 7.5 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
