The average starting price for RON-80 gasoline in Uzbekistan increased from 5.52 million soums to 5.67 million (from $529 to $543) or 2.6 percent per ton, Trend reports referring to the digest of the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange from November 30 to December 6.
According to the data, the average daily price of RON-80 gasoline also increased from 5.58 million soums to 5.69 million soums (from $534 to $545), or 2.1 percent per ton.
Last week, 23,691 tons of RON-80 gasoline was put up for sale, of which 20,215 tons or 85.3 percent were sold. On average, 50 buyers participated in the auction every day.
It was noted that for the period under review, the average weekly price of RON-80 gasoline amounted to 5.62 million soums ($538), RON-91 – 6.44 million soums ($617).
According to information, a ton of motor gasoline averages 1,293 – 1,370 liters.
In early December, it was reported that the price of RON-80 gasoline rose by 4.4 percent over the week.
Previously, the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan announced a further increase in prices for RON-80 gasoline.
In addition, Uzbekneftegaz planned to reduce the cost of RON-92 gasoline.
