Iran’s South Pars Gas Company installs equipment for export of gas condensate

The second floating Single Point Mooring System (SPM) for the export of gas condensate of Iran’s South Pars Gas Company (SPGC) was installed in the Persian Gulf, Trend reports citing Pars Oil and Gas Company’s website.

According to the report, 7,000 cubic meters of gas condensate can be loaded per hour on a tanker via this system.

“At present, the gas condensate processed at the South Pars Gas Company is transported to the 1st SPM, and the launch of the 2nd SPM will facilitate and increase the export of gas condensate, the report said.

The second SPM will be connected to a 6.8 kilometers length of 36-inch pipeline.

As reported, Iran's South Pars Gas Company can process daily 560 million cubic meters of gas, 780,000 barrels of gas condensate, 12,000 tons of ethane, 16,000 tons of LPG, and 2,500 tons of sulfur.

Iran's South Pars Gas Company’s 11 refineries are currently, of which have 25 units.
