Routine and repair work of gas pumping units at the Pomuk compressor station of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department in Uzbekistan was carried out using internal capabilities, Trend reports referring to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to Uzbekneftegaz, the main task of this compressor station is to increase the pressure of natural gas coming from the gas wells of the Pomuk field and supply it to the Mubarek gas processing plant. It is also reported that this station will serve as a significant increase in gas production indicators under management.
Uzbekneftegaz stressed that the shutdown of one of them will lead to a reduction in natural gas production by two million cubic meters per day. Taking this fact into account, the routine maintenance and repair work on gas pumping units No. 100-, 200-, 300-400 was promptly carried out.
In the process of carrying out routine maintenance and repair work, the internal parts of the gas turbine engines were checked with an endoscope apparatus and washed with water softened with a special detergent.
Also, the engines were completely replaced with air, fuel, and oil filters. All main and auxiliary equipment of gas turbine engines and compressors has been fully tested.
In addition, several technically complex calculations were made and adjustment work was performed. As a result, uninterrupted, uniform operation of gas pumping units will be ensured and a reduction in natural gas production will be prevented.
The Pomuk compressor station is located in the Mubarek district of the Kashkadarya region. The station has four gas-pumping units with a capacity of 2.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year.
This station is equipped with RON-336-2-8 gas turbine engines manufactured by the Motor Sich plant of the Ukrainian state and compressors manufactured by the Sumy NPO plant, launched in 2008.
