Iran's Lordegan Company begins exporting products

The Lordegan Urea Fertilizer Company has started exporting ammonia product in the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province (western Iran) since February 4, the Chariman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province Sajjad Rostami said, Trend reports citing the IRNA.

Rostami noted that the company's ammonia product was exported to Turkey.

The chairman did not provide additional information on the volume and value of the exported product.

As reported, the Lordegan Urea Fertilizer Company was launched on November 26, 2020. A total of 754 million euro and 11.2 trillion rials (about $267 million) was spent on the construction of the company's plants. The company can produce 670,000 tons of ammonia and 1.08 million tons of urea annually.

Rostami also said that there is a 2.3-percent increase in the construction of production facilities in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020).

“At the same time, the making of investments on the construction of production facilities in the province increased by 1.4 percent compared to last Iranian year,” he added.
