Screw compressor stations to be built at Girsan and Chulkuvar of the Mubarek oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Trend reports referring to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to Uzbekneftegaz JSC, these measures are being implemented in order to prevent natural depletion of formations as a result of long-term operation of wells in the fields and an increase in production volumes.
It is reported that O'ZLITINEFTGAZ JSC (Head Industry Research and Design Institute of Uzbekistan) is working on the selection of optimal solutions for the complex treatment and transmission of gas produced from the Girsan and Chilkuvar fields.
According to the information, the commissioning of these compressor stations is scheduled for the end of 2021.
Thus, as a result of the construction of a screw compressor station at the Girsan field, it will be possible to process natural gas extracted from wells in one day 123,000 cubic meters and 41 million cubic meters of natural gas per year.
At the same time, the construction of a screw compressor station at the Chulkuvar field will make it possible to process and transport 535 million cubic meters of natural gas per day and 177 million cubic meters per year.
Uzbekneftegaz JSC notes that a primary gas treatment unit was launched at the Girsan field in 2015. This unit has a processing capacity of one billion cubic meters of gas and is sent via the Chulkuvar-Girsan-Kultak connecting gas pipeline to the Kultak gas treatment facility.
