Iran's Lordegan Company unveils export data

The Lordegan Urea Fertilizer Company of Iran will export 30,000 tons of urea to neighboring countries in the next month (February 19 through March 20, 2021), Executive Director of the company, Mohsen Mahmoudi said, Trend reports citing the Shana news agency.

According to him, the price of 1 tons of urea will be calculated at $260.

Mahmoudi added that the company can produce 670,000 tons of ammonia and 1.08 million tons of urea per year.

The director emphasized that Iran's Lordegan Petrochemical Company is considered an export company. So, there is a plant under construction on the production of formaldehyde-urea at the company.

The Lordegan Petrochemical Company was officially launched on November 26, 2020. A total of 756 million euro and 11.2 trillion rials (about $267 million) was spent on the construction of the company's plants. The company can produce 670,000 tons of ammonia and 1.08 million tons of urea a year. The company's products have been exported since February 4.
