RosGeo, the largest geological holding in Russian, plans to develop long-term cooperation with Uzbekneftegaz JSC in the implementation of relevant technologies for geophysical studies of wells, Trend reports citing Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
The mentioned issue was discussed by the representatives of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and RosGeo JSC.
The Russian side was informed about the activities of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, as well as the ongoing transformation processes and reforms.
In turn, RosGeo expressed interest in developing long-term cooperation with Uzbekneftegaz JSC in the implementation of current technologies for geophysical well surveys and determination of the current reservoir saturation through the casing by the method of divergent electrical logging.
“This will make it possible to accurately determine such parameters as porosity, permeability, oil and gas saturation in a cased and uncased well,” the message said.
Also, the parties reached an agreement to continue studying potential areas of cooperation.
RosGeo JSC is the largest geological holding in the Russian Federation with a well-developed production and technical base, high professional competencies, and a unique volume of accumulated geological information. The company also operates in Asia, Europe, Africa, and Latin America.
