Works for construction of Jask Oil Terminal continue in Iran

There is 82 percent progress in the construction of the Jask oil terminal in the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran), administrator of Jask oil terminal, Vahid Maleki said, Trend reports citing Pars Oil and Gas Company’s website.

Maleki emphasized that the work is underway on the launch of an extraordinary part of the Jask oil terminal. In this regard, the laying of the second 36-inch pipeline at the terminal was completed yesterday on Feb. 19.

The official added that it will be possible to install a floating system Single Point Mooring (SPM) in the coming days.

As reported, it is planned to install 6 submarine pipelines, crude oil metering systems and 3 floating systems (SPM) at the Jask oil terminal in Iran. At the first stage, 1 metering system, two 36-inch pipelines and one floating system will be put into operation for the extraordinary operation of this terminal.
