Kazakhstan's Aktau port talks oil transshipment volumes

The volume of oil transshipment through Kazakhstan’s seaport of Aktau has amounted to 195,145 tons in December 2020, the representative of the seaport told Trend.

According to the data, the volume of grain transshipment amounted to 54 855 tons, and of metal to 23 tons during the reporting period of 2020.

In turn, the volume of transshipment of other types of cargo amounted to 52,220 tons, including 27,597 tons of cargo transported by containers.

Currently, three seaports in Kazakhstan render the services to vessels of various tonnage, namely, Aktau, Bautino and Kuryk.

Aktau seaport is located on the eastern coast of the Caspian Sea at the intersection of several international transport corridors.

Bautino cargo area in the settlement of the same name is a subdivision of JSC "NC" Aktau International Sea Trade Port ".

Kuryk Port is located on the coast of the Caspian Sea, south of Aktau city. The port has direct access to the railway. The ferry complex of the port is designed for the transshipment of goods, including grain, petroleum products, fertilizers, and chemicals.
