Uzkimyosanoat, Shell talk modernization of Uzbekistan’s chemical enterprises

Uzkimyosanoat JSC, corporate structure that combines chemical enterprises of Uzbekistan, and Royal Dutch Shell oil & gas company discussed the modernization of equipment of chemical industry enterprises in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing Uzkimyosanoat JSC.

The issue was discussed by the chairman of the board of Uzkimyosanoat JSC, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov and the vice-president of the Anglo-Dutch Shell, Joanna Kunsberg, via videoconference.

It is noted that the meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Benelux countries Diler Khakimov.

The parties discussed issues of establishing mutual cooperation. In particular, Zhurbek Mirzamahmudov made a detailed decision on the priority areas of activity and further development of Uzkimyosanoat JSC.

It was emphasized that an important place in them is given to the attraction of foreign investment, technology and knowledge, the development of production, the modernization of the equipment of the enterprises of the industry, as well as the training of highly qualified personnel.

Joanna Kunsberg said that the company maintains contacts with a number of partners from Uzbekistan and will be glad to discuss opportunities for cooperation with Uzkimyosanoat JSC in areas of mutual interest.
