The retail sales of motor gasoline and diesel fuel in Azerbaijan totaled 322.6 million manat ($189.7 million) from January through February 2021, having dropped by 11.9 percent compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing a report of the State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, the share of sales of motor gasoline and diesel fuel in the total retail trade turnover of Azerbaijan made up 5.3 percent.
The average monthly retail trade turnover per capita in the first 2 months of 2021 amounted to 302.1 manat ($177.7), the report reads.
During the reporting period, the cost of products sold in retail chains in Azerbaijan amounted to 6.02 billion manat ($3.54 billion), which is 1.3 percent less compared to the same period of last year.
