Ukrainian Motor Sich repaired two AI-336-2-8 and one D-336-2 gas turbine compressors belonging to Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to the information, these three gas turbine engines were taken over by the Mubarek Oil and Gas Directorate after overhaul and testing. In accordance with the special instructions of the manufacturer, before the deadline, gas-pumping units No. 100 and No. 300 of the Pomuk compressor station and gas-pumping unit No. 200 of the compressor station at the assembly point No. 3 of the Kukdumalok complex were quickly and efficiently installed and put into operation.
It is noted that the main task of the Pomuk compressor station is the fast and efficient supply of low-pressure natural gas from the Pomuk and Girsan-Chulkuvar fields to the main gas pipeline.
The compressor station of compressor station No. 3 at the Kukdumalok complex performs the function of supplying low-pressure gases coming from wells to compressor stations No. 2,3.
It is reported that the shutdown of one gas pumping unit at the Pomuk compressor station will reduce the daily gas production by 2,750 million cubic meters, and the shutdown of one gas pumping unit at the compressor station at collection point No. 3 of the Kukdumalok complex - by 1,250 million cubic meters natural gas per day.
In addition, a reserve unit is envisaged for performing the above works and putting it into operation as soon as possible in order to prevent gas leakage during an emergency shutdown of the gas pumping unit.
