Kazakhstan's companies aiming to enter Russian oil service market

Kazakhstan’s Association of Oil Service Companies is aiming to enter the Russian oil service market, General Director of the Association Nurlan Zhumagulov said, Trend reports.

Zhumagulov made the statement during a briefing held on Mar. 18, 2021.

In search of new projects, Kazakhstan’s oil service companies are making attempts to enter the Russian market, which has a lot of projects with great potential.

"The Union of Oil Service Companies, together with Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurship and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, are currently in the process of holding meetings with major Russian companies such as Gazprom, Rosneft, NOVATEK, and Sibur Holding," he said.

Zhumagulov added that five priority projects have been identified that are of high interest and have the potential to involve Kazakh companies.
