The Russian power engineering plant Electrosila (Power Machines) participates in execution of contracts for the supply of generators for the Syrdarya TPP (thermal power plant), Farkhad and Tupalang HPP (hydroelectric power plant), the press service of Power Machines JSC told Trend.
According to the company, the energy sector of Uzbekistan, its development, strengthening of the country's energy security is inextricably linked with Russia and with Russian power engineering enterprises.
In particular, generating equipment manufactured by Electrosila has been installed and is successfully operating at hydroelectric power plants in Uzbekistan.
“The plant participates in the execution of contracts for the supply of generators for the Syrdarya TPP, Farkhad and Tupalang HPPs. These projects are being carried out by Power Machines,” the company said.
In March of this year, after the modernization carried out by Power Machines under the EPC contract (engineering, supply, construction) for the full-scale modernization of six station power units, the fifth and sixth power units of the Syrdarya TPP, the largest power plant in Central Asia, were successfully connected to the power system countries and put into operation.
It was noted that the completion of the TPP modernization is scheduled for the current year, when power units No. 9 and No. 10 will be put into operation.
Regarding the production of synchronous motors for the Navoi mining and metallurgical complex (MMC), the company noted that the last of the five motors will be shipped from the plant in March-April 2021.
“At the same time, Electrosila plant, having significant experience in the supply of electric motors of various capacities and purposes for mining and processing enterprises, is ready to fulfill new orders from Navoi and other MMC,” the company stressed.
Electrosila plant (Power Machines) is an energy machine-building enterprise in St. Petersburg, specializing in the production of electrical machines, traction motors, generators of JSC Power Machines.
