A daily reduction in the total volume of gas processing was prevented during the suspension of work at Mubarek gas processing plant for the repair of the nineteenth unit for purifying natural gas from sulfur compounds of the unit, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to the information, together with specialists from the hydrocarbon production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the Mubarek gas processing plant, the nineteenth unit for purifying natural gas from sulfur compounds of the plant's workshop No. 14 was prematurely stopped and repaired to carry out preventive scheduled full repairs.
It is noted that the unit was commissioned in 1994 and its main function is to purify natural gas from high contents of sulfur and carbon dioxide compounds. It is designed to receive two billion cubic meters of high-sulfur-associated gas per year.
Thus, in connection with the optimization of the operating modes of the gas processing units of the plant during the period of suspension of work on the repair of this unit, a daily decrease in the total volume of gas transferred to the processing process by four million cubic meters was prevented.
As a result of high-quality repair work at the installation, it will be achieved to ensure its stable, reliable operation in the autumn-winter period and fulfill the indicators of the planned plan.
The Mubarek gas processing plant is located in the Mubarek district of the Kashkadarya region and was commissioned in 1973.
