Kazakhstan’s Nostrum to maximize output from Chinarevskoye field

Kazakhstan’s Nostrum Oil and Gas company will focus on maximizing output from the Chinarevskoye field in 2021, Trend reports citing the company.

The company said that in order to achieve the goal the company will introduce a targeted workover and intervention program, as well as maximize uptime of existing wells and production facilities.

The company is planning to achieve average production volumes of 17,000 barrels of oil per day at the field corresponding to average sales volumes of 16,000 barrels of oil per day. The company is also looking to continue studies to identify economic ways to bring contingent resources back into 2P.

The Chinarevskoye Field is located in the Chinarevskoye License. Zhaikmunai LP holds a 100 percent contractor interest in the license.

In order to deliver the company’s strategies for growth commercial contracts for the processing of third-party hydrocarbons through our facilities and firming up, potential upstream development opportunities will be concluded. A comprehensive ESG roadmap will also be established.

Its shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange. The principal producing asset of Nostrum Oil & Gas PLC is the Chinarevskoye field, in which it holds a 100 percent interest and is the operator through its wholly-owned subsidiary Zhaikmunai LLP.

In addition, Nostrum Oil & Gas holds a 100 percent interest in and is the operator of the Rostoshinskoye oil and gas field through the same subsidiary.
