The unit for cleaning two billion cubic meters of regeneration gases from sulfur and carbon dioxide compounds per year was repaired at the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant in Uzbekistan, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
As agreed by the specialists of the hydrocarbon production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the Mubarek gas processing plant, the 23rd unit for gas purification from sulfur compounds No. 17 of the shop was shut down for scheduled preventive complete repairs and repair work was carried out.
After the installation of all material and technical resources and additional parts and as a result of high-quality repair of the installation, uninterrupted, stable operation in the autumn-winter period was ensured to meet the established targets.
It is noted that during the period of shutdown for repairs of the 23rd unit of the 17th workshop for the purification of gas from sulfur compounds, the operating modes of the gas processing units of the Mubarek gas processing plant were optimized and the daily reduction in the total volume of gas transferred to the processing process by five million cubic meters was prevented.
The Mubarek gas processing plant is located on the territory of the Mubarek district of the Kashkadarya region, was commissioned in 1973. The 23rd unit No. 17 of the workshop for the purification of gas from sulfur compounds was launched in 2013. This device is designed to remove sulfur and carbon dioxide from regeneration gases. It is designed to receive two billion cubic meters of high-sulfur associated gas per year.
