Uzbekneftegaz JSC repaired and launched a unit for cleaning gases from sulfur compounds at the Mubarek gas processing plant, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

According to the information, a number of measures have been identified to restore production capacities of oil and gas production departments and to timely launch scheduled repair work at natural gas processing plants.

On May 15, in agreement with the specialists of the hydrocarbon production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the Mubarek gas processing plant No. 17, the unit for cleaning gases from sulfur compounds of the fourth workshop was stopped for preventive scheduled maintenance.

As a result of high-quality repair work at the installation, stable, reliable operation in the autumn-winter period and the fulfillment of the indicators of the planned plan were achieved.

During the suspension of the repair of this unit, the operating modes of the gas processing units of the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant were optimized. As a result, a reduction in the total volume of gas supplied to the processing process by five million cubic meters per day was prevented.

It is reported that a group of specialists from the hydrocarbon production department and the plant have repaired the device and successfully put it into operation.

The Mubarek gas processing plant is located in the Mubarek district of the Kashkadarya region and was commissioned in 1973. No. 17 unit for cleaning gases from sulfur compounds of the 4th shop was put into operation in 1991 and is designed to clean gas from sulfur compounds. The plant is capable of processing 2.0 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
