The price of RON-80 gasoline in Uzbekistan during the period from June 14 to 21 rose to 6,860 soums ($0.65) per ton, Trend reports referring to the press service of the Uzbek Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.
The report said RON-80 and RON-92 gasoline rose in price at gas stations across country. In addition to locally produced fuel, price for RON-95 also increased.
In one week the price for RON-80 increased from 6,715 to 6,860 soums per ton (from $0.64 to $0.65). Thus, the average price of this position amounted to 6,831 soums ($0.65), and RON-91 – 7,873 soums ($0.75).
As it was noted, prices for imported fuels have also increased. Now RON-95 costs 8,390 soums ($0.8) per one liter, that is, the increase was 200-300 soums ($0.019 - 0.028), and RON-92 costs from 7,200 soums per one liter ($0.68).
Earlier, it was reported that the price of gasoline in Uzbekistan increased during the period from January through February 2021 by 4.9 percent. At the same time, the price for methane increased by five percent, while the price of propane decreased by 7.9 percent.
It was noted that the excise tax rates for petroleum products and car fuel sold to end consumers have increased in Uzbekistan since February 1.
According to Uzbekneftegaz JSC, these measures would lead to an increase in the cost of RON-80 gasoline by up to 110 soums ($0.01), RON-90, and more by 60-90 soums ($0.0057-$0.0085).
