Uzbekneftegaz signs several memorandums of co-op with local industry enterprises

Uzbekneftegaz JSC signed 124 memorandums of cooperation in the field of industrial cooperation with local industry enterprises, Trend reports with reference to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

In accordance with the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan on measures to organize and conduct regional and republican intersectoral industrial fairs in 2021, in the first half of this year, Uzbekneftegaz JSC and its industrial enterprises took part in regional industrial fairs organized in the cities of Navoi, Termez, Bukhara and Nukus.

It is reported that when creating industrial cooperation, all enterprises of the system were covered, including Uzbekneftegaz JSC - 23, Bukhara Oil Refinery LLC - 33, Uz-Kor Gas Chemical JV LLC - 14, Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex LLC - 17, Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department - seven, Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department - one, Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department – three, Kazneftkuduқtamirlash LLC - 12, Uzneftegaz Burgilash Ishlari LLC - four, Uzbekneftegaz GTL plant - 10 memorandums.

Currently, within the framework of the execution of the above memorandums through the Single Portal of Electronic Cooperation of the republic, 18 contracts have been signed and sent to the execution for a total of 3.7 billion soums ($348 595).

Including, Bukhara Oil Refinery LLC - eight contracts worth 2.34 billion soums ($220,463), Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex LLC - six contracts worth one billion soums, Uz-Kor Gas Chemical JV LLC - two contracts worth 0.09 billion soums ($8,479), Uzneftegaz Burgilash Ishlari LLC – one contract for 0.08 billion soums and Mubarek Gas Processing Plant LLC - one contract for 0.18 billion soums ($16 958).

In order to effectively implement the memorandums signed within the framework of industry fairs, a joint action plan is being developed between the parties, including consultations, industrial testing and the organization of a qualified exchange.

In particular, to date, within the framework of the memorandums, 29 road maps have been signed on the introduction of import-substituting products directly into production and conducting industrial experimental tests.

According to preliminary calculations, as a result of the implementation of these measures, it is expected to achieve a reduction in imports of more than $15.2 million.
