As many as 11 petrochemical facilities are planned to be put into operation in Iran within the next 1 year, Deputy Oil Minister and Executive Director of Iran’s National Petrochemical Company, Behzad Mohammadi said, Trend reports citing company’s website.

The deputy minister stressed that of these, 5 facilities will be put into operation in the second half of the current Iranian year (from August 23, 2021 through March 20, 2022), while 6 facilities – in the first half of next Iranian year (from March 21, 2022 through August 22, 2022).

“Starting from the second half of next Iranian year (August 23, 2022), 39 petrochemical facilities are to be put into operation in the petrochemical sector of Iran. In total, 50 facilities are to be put into operation in the next 5 years (until March 20, 2026).
