Azerbaijan has exported 1.19 million tons of oil to Spain in the first seven months of 2021, Trend reports on Aug.17 citing the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee (SCC).
According to the committee, the value of Azerbaijan’s oil exports to Spain amounted to $510.5 million.
From January through July 2021, Azerbaijan has exported a total of 17.1 million tons of oil, which is 14.33 percent less compared to the same period of 2020. In value terms, oil exports surpassed $7.5 billion, showing an 18.5-percent rise on annual basis, the SCC said.
Meanwhile, Spain’s share in Azerbaijani oil exports made up 6.97 percent.
The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Spain in 2020 amounted to $427.3 million (exports - $329.3 million, imports - $98 million).
