Azerbaijan has exported 972,654 tons of oil to Israel from January through July 2021, Trend reports on Aug.17 with reference to the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee (SCC).
According to the committee, the value of the oil exported to Israel in the reporting period made up $457.8 million.
From January through July 2021, Azerbaijan has exported a total of 17.1 million tons of oil, which is 14.33 percent less compared to the same period of 2020. In value terms, oil exports surpassed $7.5 billion, showing an 18.5-percent rise on annual basis, the SCC said.
Meanwhile, Israel’s share in Azerbaijani oil exports made up 5.7 percent.
The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Israel in the first seven months of this year 2021 reached $476 million.
Azerbaijan’s export to Israel amounted to $460.5 million, while imports from Israel totaled $15.4 million.
