"The operation of the Helilan petrochemical project in Ilam Province has started. About 800 million euros have been assigned for the installment of this petrochemical project. An Iranian company that is a subsidiary of Oil Industry Pension Fund is the project investor," he explained.

"The land for construction of Helian petrochemical complex has been scouted. Part of the project's equipment arrived at the customs that soon reach the region," Karami said.

The deputy has indicated that water and electricity infrastructure is being provided and the opening of this project will take two to three years.

He also noted the construction of two power plants projects by the private sector, saying the private sector is pursing the installation of two power plants in Dehloran County,
