SOCAR’s revenues from abroad disclosed

The revenues of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR in Turkey dropped from 9.541 billion Azerbaijani manats in 2019 to 7.901 billion manats in 2020, Trend reports with reference to the company.

The company’s revenues in Georgia stood at 933.036 million manats in 2020 versus 1.050 billion manats in 2019. The revenues in Ukraine also saw a reduction from 729.512 million manats in 2019 to 684.581 million manats in 2020. The figures for Switzerland dropped from 2.670 billion manats to 2.130 billion manats.

SOCAR is involved in exploring oil and gas fields, producing, processing, and transporting oil, gas, and gas condensate, marketing petroleum and petrochemical products in domestic and international markets, and supplying natural gas to industry and the public in Azerbaijan.

SOCAR conducts various petroleum activities in countries such as Georgia, Turkey, Romania, Switzerland, Germany and Ukraine, including trading activities, mainly in Switzerland, Singapore and Nigeria.
