BAKU, Azerbaijan, Sept. 2
Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:
With the support of the Green For Growth Fund and the EU's EU4Energy program, TBC Leasing is implementing a project called Green Initiative in Georgia, Trend reports referring to the Georgian media.
Within the framework of this project, TBC Leasing has created a special leasing product to support the development of a solar battery system. This project can significantly reduce the costs associated with the installation and design of solar panels.
This partnership, in addition to environmental activities, will promote business development in the private sector.
The renewable energy market in Georgia has enormous potential, in particular with regard to solar energy, although this prospect has not yet been realized. Within the framework of cooperation, TBC Leasing is ready to make every effort to expand and fully use the existing potential in the field of solar panels. With the support of the Small-Scale Green Initiative, TBC Leasing will have the opportunity, in close cooperation with suppliers of solar panel systems, to create a special leasing product and contribute to the development of this market in Georgia.
The EU4Energy initiative includes the full support of the EU in improving energy supply, security, and communications, as well as promoting energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources in the partner countries of the East - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. This is achieved by funding projects and programs that help reform energy markets and reduce the country's energy dependence and consumption.
