SUEZ Group forecasts revenues in Azerbaijan as of 2021

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Sept.13

French SUEZ Group expects its 2021 revenues in Azerbaijan to be stable or below 2020 levels, the company told Trend.

“For 2021, our revenue should remain stable or slightly down comparing to year 2020 but we have been able to develop some projects which could deliver some added value in 2022. Energy sector remain our key industry focus in Azerbaijan, mainly downstream business (Refinery, Petrochemicals, Chemicals) and the portfolio of solutions we can provide is still growing,” said the company.

SUEZ Group has few projects on-going in Azerbaijan with different customers, on upstream and downstream sector. The company’s focus remains on using high effective chemicals with the lowest footprint. SUEZ Group is also developing solutions for other sectors than the O&G one in order to ensure diversified customers portfolio.

SUEZ Group has also developed solutions to maximize refinery profitability in Azerbaijan.

The company’s priorities are to continue to develop relationship with key downstream customers for both Water and Process treatment. SUEZ has developed patented technologies able to deliver added value such as low environmental footprint, biodegradable products, improved efficiency etc which are suitable for the Azerbaijan market.

As an example, SUEZ also monitors the CO2 emission savings delivered by some of our anti-fouling treatment programs. Regarding crude treatment, the company has developed integrated solutions regarding crude instability called CrudePLUS which is delivering Operation calm and allow to maximize throughput and Refinery profitability.
