Turkmenistan reveals progress on construction of gas pipelines in Mary region

Turkmengazupjunchilik association is building medium and high-pressure gas pipelines in the cities and villages of Turkmenistan's Mary region, Trend reports with reference to Nebit-Gaz electronic newspaper.

Over seven months of this year, a gas pipeline with a length of 24,780 meters has been laid. Also, a number of sections of the existing gas pipelines have been overhauled.

Earlier, in the villages of the Murgap district, following repairs, a high-pressure gas pipeline with a length of 3,300 meters was put into operation. The assimilated amount of work performed accounted for 9.7 million manats ($2.8 million).

Earlier it was reported that gas workers of the Dashoguzgazupdzhunchilik department in Turkmenistan’s Dashoguz region are preparing gas networks for the autumn-winter period.

According to the information, the specialists of Goroglyetrapgaz gas business enterprise service more than 1,200 kilometers of gas networks. A comprehensive survey of more than 450 gas distribution and gas control equipment is being carried out.
