Turbo compressors No. 3 and No. 5 for the 10th refinery of the Iranian South Pars Gas Company (SPGC) have been repaired, an official of the SPGC, Sasan Chanideh said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
According to him, turbo compressor No. 3 of the refinery was put into operation after repair.
Chanideh added that the turbo compressor No. 5 was also put into operation. At present, the 10th refinery is producing gas at full capacity.
“Both turbo compressors were repaired by the company's own specialists,” the official noted.
As reported, the 10th refinery of the SPGC has the potential to produce 50 million cubic meters of sweet gas, 77,000 barrels of gas condensate, 2,400 tons of ethane, 1,800 tons of propane, 1,100 tons of butane, and 320 tons of sulfur per day.
