Turkey’s Era Enerji, Enerji Servis Hizmetleri ve Petrol Tic. Ltd. Sti company has applied to the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey to obtain an oil and gas exploration license, the ministry told Trend.
At the same time, the ministry hasn’t given the exact information about the place where Era Enerji intends to conduct the exploration activities.
Currently, the ministry is working on issuing a license to Era Enerji.
In April 2014, a law came into force in Turkey, allowing exploration for oil in forests and national parks.
