Iran's IRENEX unveils details of Tabriz Oil Refining Company’s sales

The Iranian Tabriz Oil Refining Company sold products worth about 834 billion rials (about $3.07 million) at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2021), said the official IRENEX report obtained by Trend.

According to the report, the Tabriz Oil Refining Company sold 4.35 million liters of solvent 402 and reformate products on the domestic floor of the exchange.

In addition, the company sold about 1,520 tons of iso feed product on the domestic floor of the IRENEX.

As reported, the Tabriz Oil Refining Company is located in the East Azerbaijan Province (north-western Iran). The company accounts for 7 percent of Iran's crude oil refining potential and plays a major role in supplying fuel to the northwest part of country.

The company mainly produces liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), gasoline in accordance with Euro 5 standard, ordinary diesel, and diesel Euro 5 standard, aviation fuel and other products.

In addition, the company produces light naphtha, granular sulfur, ethane, butane, hexane, lube cut, base oil, iso feed, iso recycle, solvent 402, solvent 404, solvent 406, benzene, bitumen, reformate and other products.

A total of 36 trillion rials (about $133 million) worth of products were sold at the IRENEX in the first month.

The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold under the SANA exchange rate. SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is currently 315,866 rials, and the price of $1 is 272,075 rials.
