TEHRAN, Iran.Oct.12
Trend:
Iran is ready to build a power plant in Lebanon to help solve country's power outage crisis, said Iran Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh, Trend reports.
During his weekly press conference, Khatibzadeh noted that Iran has technical capacity to construct such a power plant, if the Lebanese government will make such a request.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian recently indicated that Iran is willing to build two power plants in Beirut and in south of Lebanon.
Iran aims to continue sending fuel products to Lebanon in the future and hopes a bilateral agreement will be reached for that purpose.
