In general, about 300 km of overhead and cable lines of various voltages have been laid and restored in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, and a large number of transformers have been installed, said Azerbaijan’s energy minister Parviz Shahbazov in an article published in Respublika newspaper, Trend reports.
The minister noted that the process of creating power supply facilities both in Karabakh and in East Zangezur continues intensively.
Five 110/35/10 kW substations have already been commissioned in Shusha, Kalbajar, Fizuli and Jabrail, and power lines have been laid to connect these substations to the general energy system of the country, added Shahbazov.
“By the end of the year, the construction of substations with a capacity of 110/35/10 kW in Gubadli, Zangilan, as well as substations Agdam-1, Agdam-2 and reconstruction of a substation in Dashkasan will be completed. The construction of lines connecting these substations with the country's power system continues. Work is underway to design a substation and connecting lines in the village of Goshasu, Lachin region. Currently, the construction of six substations with a capacity of 35 / 0.4 kW in the city of Shusha and one substation with a capacity of 35/10 kW in the village of Hadrut is underway. A line with a capacity of 35 kW has been laid for power supply to the village of Sugovushan. A substation Sugovushan with a capacity of 35/10 kW has already been built and put into operation,” reads the article.
