The revenues of Iran’s Shiraz Petrochemical Company increased by 106 percent, during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
The company's revenues for the reporting period amounted to 53 trillion rials (about $1.26 billion). Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at 21 trillion rials (about $500 million).
According to the report, the revenue from each share of the company for 6 months amounted to 4,080 rials (about $0.09), which is an increase of 83 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
The company's production in six months was about 1.76 million tons, of which about 840,000 tons accounted for urea.
“Within 6 months, 308,000 tons of urea were sold in the domestic market, while 451,000 tons of urea were exported,” the report said.
The Shiraz Petrochemical Company plans to produce 1.4 million tons of products and sell 919,000 tons in the next six months. So, 258,000 tons are to be sold on the domestic market and 476,000 tons are to be exported.
As reported, Iran's Shiraz Petrochemical Company was established in 1959. The company is located on an area of 300 hectares of land.
At present, the company's annual production capacity is 3.28 million tons. Of this, 677,000 tons are ammonia and 1.07 million tons are urea. The company also produces methanol, chlorine, argon and other products.
