Europe to boost petroleum, other liquids output in 2022-2023

European petroleum and other liquids production will stand at 4.20 million barrels per day in 2022, as compared to 4.12 mbd in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).

EIA estimated Europe’s quarterly production at 4.32 mbd, 3.84 mbd, 4.13 mbd and 4.19 mbd in 2021.

The quarterly forecasts for 2022 are as follows: 4.25 mbd, 4.18 mbd, 4.04 mbd and 4.33 mbd in Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4, respectively.

Europe’s petroleum production in 2023 is expected at 4.48 mbd, with quarterly production of 4.46 mbd, 4.48 mbd, 4.39 mbd and 4.57 mbd, respectively.

The volume of production in Europe was 4.22 mbd as of 2020, according to EIA.

In particular, EIA expects Norway to produce 2.13 mbd and 2.37 mbd in 2022 and 2023 respectively, as compared to 2.04 mbd in 2021. UK’s output is set to remain unchanged from 2021 at 0.95 mbd in 2022, before rising to 0.98 mbd in 2023.
